These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the OurMap mobile application (the "App"), operated by Oksana Bryk, an individual based in Poland ("I", "me", "my"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
OurMap lets you save places on a map, organize them into trips or folders, add notes, and optionally share trips with other users via invite links. The App requires an internet connection for most features.
OurMap does not require you to create a sign-in account or provide an email. On first launch, the App signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication so your trips and saved places can sync to my backend. A display name (e.g. "Explorer") is auto-generated and you may change it in the Profile screen.
Because the anonymous account is tied to your device, uninstalling the App or switching devices may permanently disconnect you from your data. I cannot recover trips from an anonymous session that has been lost.
OurMap offers an optional paid subscription ("OurMap Pro") that unlocks advanced features. Subscriptions are sold, billed, and managed by Apple through your App Store account. Pricing, renewal terms, and any free trial are shown on the in-app paywall before purchase.

I may remove content or restrict access to the App without notice if I reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
You retain ownership of the trips, place names, descriptions, and comments you create ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant me a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and transmit your User Content solely to operate the App (for example, to display your trip to collaborators you invite). I do not sell your User Content and I do not use it to train machine-learning models.
The App, its source code, design, name, and logo are owned by me and protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership.

Your use of these services through the App is also subject to their respective terms. I am not responsible for third-party services' availability or content.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. I do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
The App is not intended for navigation, emergency use, or any situation where inaccurate location information could result in injury or property damage.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the App. My total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Polish or EU law (e.g. for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. I may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.
I may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or at this URL. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights under the law of your country of residence are not affected. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Poland, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
